Employment Opportunity: Technical Sales Representative

We’re looking for a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a technical sales representative.

Your role is to be a technical expert in the products we carry and help customers set up their security system and networking equipment. We support our customers through phone, email, and remote assistance using AnyDesk.

Job Responsibilities

We’re looking for technical salesperson to speak with customers and guide them through the steps of setting up and configuring their security system.

As a technical sales rep, you will perform the following duties:

Respond to customer inquiries, showcasing your professional abilities and willingness to help.
Support customers over the phone; troubleshoot networking issues and solve problems related to security cameras.
Take orders from customers, make sure everything is accurate. Enter the orders in our CRM system and keep clients updated on the status of their order.
Test new products so that you can explain to customers how they work.
Basic chores / errands around the office (take out the trash, mop the floor, etc.)

Qualifications

You must be able to troubleshoot issues and solve technical problems. Most of the issues our customers face are related to IP addresses and equipment on different subnets – basic knowledge in computer networks is a must.

You should also demonstrate a willingness to learn and master new skills. Patience and empathy helps too, since it’s our responsibility to remain professional and help our clients as best as we can.

Job Type: Full-time (in-person)

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
