Product Overview

The Lysora LCST-8GT2SFP-HP is an 8-port managed industrial PoE switch with a 300 W PoE budget. Port 1 supports PoE++ (up to 60W), while ports 2 – 8 support PoE+. You can manage it remotely through the Lysora Cloud Portal, letting you reboot individual ports and monitor the PoE usage of each port.

This is a hardened version of the LCS series switches, rated for -40°C all the way up to +75°C – along with an IP40 weather rating for work in harsh environments. It also has a heavy surge protection rating of 6 kV – which can help protect connected equipment from lightning and electrical surges. This makes it suitable for outdoor enclosures, parking lots, warehouses, and construction sites.

Note: This switch does not include a power adapter. We recommend the NDR-240-48 DIN-rail power supply.

This switch also supports the following features:

• DHCP Snooping – Set certain ports as trusted, which means only devices on those ports can assign DHCP addresses to the rest of your network (improves security).
• Loop Prevention – Block the signal from any ports that are looped, preventing the network from crashing.
• Long-distance PoE – Allows you to connect a device up to 250 m (820 ft), but lowers the speed of the port to 10 Mbps.
• PoE Watchdog – Will automatically reboot the PoE port if no traffic is detected after 90 – 1800 seconds (adjustable).
