Product Overview

This massive 128-ch NVR from Uniview is designed for apartment buildings, warehouses – basically any large project where you’ll have dozens of security cameras monitoring the property. It’s quite large and takes up 3U in a network rack.

You can add a secondary power supply for redundancy to ensure continuous operation. If one of the power supplies fails, the second one will keep the unit powered up.

The HDD slots are also hot-swappable. If a drive fails, you can remove it while the NVR is running and swap in a new one.

NVR516-128E-R vs. NVR824-256R – Which Enterprise NVR Do You Need?

The NVR516-128E-R and the NVR824-256R both have hot-swappable drives, RAID 0 to 60, N+1 hot spare and an optional redundant power supply. The main differences are capacity and resolution:
