Uniview’s Cat5e FT4 cable is built to a premium quality standard. A box weighs 22.8lbs and the cable is made from solid 24 AWG copper wire. There is 1000 feet of cable (305m) inside a single carton.
The wires are precisely twisted together to ensure minimal crosstalk and signal attenuation. The colours on the twisted pairs are printed in a dense ink, which allows them to be easily distinguished even in poor lighting conditions. There is also a rip-cord, allowing you to easily remove the outer PVC jacket without damaging any of the wires inside.
FT4 riser cable is rated for non-plenum spaces. It’s designed to prevent flames from spreading vertically within a building, as specified in the UL 1666 flame test.
