Product Overview
The Uniview NVR501-04B-P4 is a compact 4-channel network video recorder with 4 built-in PoE ports, so each camera connects with a single network cable for both power and video. It records at up to 16MP per camera and supports Ultra 265, H.265 and H.264 compression to keep bandwidth and storage use low.
The 4 PoE ports share a 50 W power budget (up to 30 W per port, IEEE 802.3af/at). A single SATA bay accepts a surveillance hard drive up to 16 TB, and the HDMI output supports 4K monitors, with a VGA output that shows the same image at the same time.
You can view and play back cameras remotely from the UNV-Link app or a web browser, with up to 128 remote users.

NVR501-04B-P4 vs. NVR501-08B-P8 – Which One Do You Need?
The NVR501-04B-P4 and the NVR501-08B-P8 share the same compact chassis, single hard drive bay and 16MP recording. The differences are channel count and PoE power:
- Cameras: 4 (NVR501-04B-P4) vs. 8 (NVR501-08B-P8)
- PoE ports: 4 (NVR501-04B-P4) vs. 8 (NVR501-08B-P8)
- PoE budget: 50 W (NVR501-04B-P4) vs. 75 W (NVR501-08B-P8)
- Size: 260 × 222 × 47 mm, 1U (both models)
Choose the NVR501-04B-P4 for small systems of up to four cameras. If you expect to add cameras later, the NVR501-08B-P8 gives you room to grow. For more storage or RAID 1 mirroring, step up to the NVR502-08B-P8 with two drive bays. Pair any of them with our surveillance hard drives.
