The NVR504 series is a compact and powerful 32ch video recorder. It supports up to four hard drives and has 16 built-in PoE ports. To add more than 16 cameras, you must use a PoE switch (sold separately). This NVR also supports LPR cameras, POS integration, and fisheye dewarping.

Product Overview

The Uniview NVR504-32B-P16 is a 32-channel network video recorder with 16 built-in PoE ports and four hard drive bays. Plug up to 16 cameras straight into the recorder, and add up to 16 more through a PoE switch on the same network. It records at up to 16MP per camera and supports Ultra 265, H.265 and H.264 compression.

Four SATA bays accept surveillance hard drives up to 16 TB each (up to 64 TB in total), with RAID 1 or RAID 5 to protect your footage if a drive fails. The 16 PoE ports share a 150 W power budget (up to 30 W per port, IEEE 802.3af/at).

The HDMI output supports 4K monitors, and the VGA output can drive a second display at the same time. You can view and play back cameras remotely from the UNV-Link app or a web browser, with up to 128 remote users.

NVR504-32B-P16 vs. NVR504-16B-P16 – Which One Do You Need?

The NVR504-32B-P16 and the NVR504-16B-P16 share the same four drive bays, RAID 1 and 5 support, 16 PoE ports and 150 W PoE budget. The difference is how many cameras they record:

  • Camera channels: 32 (NVR504-32B-P16) vs. 16 (NVR504-16B-P16)
  • Live view layouts: up to 32 screens (NVR504-32B-P16) vs. up to 16 screens (NVR504-16B-P16)
  • Size: 400 × 368 × 74 mm, 1.5U (both models)
